Our holiday events include something fun for the whole family!
Holiday Open House – Our annual Holiday Open House will be on Sunday, December 2nd from 12:00 – 4:00 pm. We will be open to the community, and visitors will enjoy live music, treats, and our vintage Holiday exhibit. Children can visit and have a photo opportunity with Santa. And once again this year, Mrs. Claus’s Kitchen will be bursting with fresh baked goods and unique budget-friendly gift items for perfect for those holiday hostess gifts or letting the children shop for their loved ones.
Storytime with Santa – Bring the kids for a fun evening with Santa! Cocoa and cookies will be served as Santa reads classic and new Holiday stories. There will be opportunities for pictures with Santa, so bring your camera! Each child will receive a souvenir cocoa mug and yummy treats. Cost is $10 per child for members and $15 per child for non-members. Children must be accompanied by an adult who does not need to register. You can sign up at the times listed below:

December 20th 6:00 – 7:00 pm
Extended Museum Hours – We will be open on Saturdays from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm on December 8th, 15th, and 22nd. Come in and enjoy the vintage holiday exhibit and shop at Mrs. Claus’s Kitchen for holiday gifts and baked goods. Our research center will also be open so you can look at the file for your address or other history of La Grange.
