Join us for an evening of mystery and intrigue set in our very own town! The La Grange Area Historical Society presents Mid Century Murder, a historic murder mystery event inspired by the true history of La Grange. Step back to 1956, and into the shoes of our local ancestors as you attend a soiree at the esteemed Vial Manor. All of the prominent families in town will be in attendance, but not everyone is as innocent as they seem. Will you be a Cossitt, who’s family history shaped the very formation of the town? Or a member of the Vial family, with local roots that predate even our illustrious founder? Each guest will have a role to play, clues to share, and secrets to conceal as we work together to unmask the killer.
After registering you will receive an email containing your character information which should be reviewed before the event. You will receive additional clues and objectives throughout the night to help you solve the mystery. Costumes are highly encouraged but not required. Included in the registration fee is a sampling of mid century cocktails and light hors d’oeuvres. This event is restricted to ages 21+. This is an in person event, space is limited
