Fundraising

Grant research, writing and submittals

Baking items for Bake Sales

Computer/Technology

Digitizing records - scanning photographs and documents from the files into the Society computer, labeling the files correctly and placing them in the appropriate folders. Training is available.

General computer administration - updating security programs, data files, cleaning SPAM from mailboxes, performing data backups, burning CD-ROMs and DVD-ROMs of Archival files. Some training available, but computer administration skills preferred.

Web site design and administration - a motivated, self-starter with experience building and maintaining web sites can improve their skills in developing a more dynamic web site for the Society.

Marketing/PR

Newsletter - Editor of quarterly newsletter, notify which persons need to submit articles, compile newsletter, send to printer, fold and label for bulk mailing, bring newsletter to bulk mail at Post Office and first class mail for the out of town newsletters

Building and Grounds

House - misc. repairs as needed

Outdoor Yard Work - pulling weeds, watering flowers, trimming bushes
